my new aquarium filter is not work... we just got it today,was working but now is not helpppppppp

Check the fuse and then take it back. You can lose a lot of fish with a sketchy filter.

You did not supply enough information, but here are some suggestions. Did you read the owners manual ? I know sometimes they are not very helpful. If its an outside filter, most of your filters today require you to pour water into the filter as it's running, to enable the pump to siphon the water into the filter. However if this does not work , contact the maker of the filter for help. You can find a phone number or website usually in your owners manual, or by entering the the brand name of the filter into your Yahoo search engine

Not enough information, what kind of filter is it? Does it hang on the side or go under the water? If it is on the side, take out the impeller and replace it again, that may do the trick.

sometimes if you pour water over it that might help the filter to start working.
