K so some of you want to know why i want to do this, its because i have a lab puppy who is constantly jumping on me . i trim her claws but it still doesnt help , she seems to bend her little toes to be able to hold on to me while shes trying to climb on my lap or something, Im 5 months pregnant and my balance is already off . i dont mind the jumping, its the painful scratches that come along with it. and whats to happen when the baby comes? shes going to be overly excited to see whats going on and be all in my childs face.. . i need a solution or something.

Instead, teach her some manners including NOT jumping up on people. Claws or not, you don't want her doing this when she's full grown and weighs 55-70 pounds.

It is common to have the dews removed. (That is the toe that hangs on the side of the foot.) I don't think I have ever heard of all the toes being removed. I can't think of a good reason to do so. It would be a very painful procedure. Could you add on to your question as to why you would do this? I would be very curious to know why.
If your dog is jumping on you you need to train it not to. I would suggest to you that you put your knee up when it jumps on you. Your knee should hit him in the chest. Give it the command "no jump!" It doesn't hurt the dog, but it is a negative reward to jumping. In other words every time he jumps he gets a knee to the chest. Hum maybe he won't do that because its not pleasant. He wants to please you. Always reward for the good behavior. When he is not jumping reward him with praise because this is the behavior you do want. Good luck with your training and congrats on the baby.

No it is not possible. Some people think declawing a cat is to remove the nails, in fact declawing is an amputation. Consider having the tip of your finger removed to the first joint or knuckle, that's what declawing is. Dogs don't have the same bones in their paws that's why their nails are always exposed.
Keeping a dog's nails trimmed is the best alternative to your question.

yes you can. but alot of recovery and everything else. not to mention a long miserable painful process for your dog. they do sell plastic things that specially fit over your pets claws to protect your dog from scratching things around the house or people. you should go to your local pet store and ask abouto them. (sorry i forgot what they're called. but they do come in various sizes to fit the size of your ogs claws and need to be replaced every 3 months. good luck

It would be a whole lot more humane to keep your dogs claws trimmed. That is true that dogs do not have retractable claws like cats The just need regular trimming to keep them in check.

No. What a horrible idea. You can have them clipped or do it yourself, though. You can get a claw clipper at any pet supply store or from the vet, and the vet or a groomer can do it easily if you can't.
Why would you want to mutilate your dog's feet??!!

If you can find a vet to do it. Proper training will stop the behavior.
