Way more than normal. He's been to the vet recently all is well. Slight heart murmur, but no more than to be expected at his age.
Border Collie / Spaniel cross and he is my special baby.
New happenings in our house: kids back to school, two kittens we are fostering; but he has been through this before. Anyone else with a geriatric dog had similar experiences?

Dogs get stressed too. Most people have nightmares when something in real life is bothering them.

Just give it time, and give your pup a lot of love and affection, and things will return to normal once he gets more used to the changes...

p.s. - treats help too.

Harriett....I empathize with you completly. I had to go from a three mattress room cellular abode right into a small a million mattress room flat that would not enable pets. as a result, my 12 12 months old Manchester Terrier could no longer incorporate me. i attempted sooo perplexing to discover somebody to take her. She replaced into properly experienced and behaved. As my shifting day got here closer I had no selection yet to take her to SPCA. As an older canines, they labeled her as a canines with "specific desires". i don't be attentive to if she discovered a sturdy abode or no longer. She replaced into this kind of competent canines. My superb pal. I omit her lots. i don't be attentive to if this implies lots to you. you probably did the only component that could desire to be executed. She isn't in discomfort anymore. you have closure. you be attentive to the place she is. i don't have closure. I desire Sabrina were sick. i be attentive to it extremely is a poor concept. yet a minimum of i could be attentive to the place she replaced into. i will continuously ask your self what occurred to her. the wonderful component for us the two to do is to get yet another canines. we could desire to continuously fill that hollow in our lives. i prefer to get yet another canines simply by fact i be attentive to it is going to help me pass on. No worries!!! Usually when he's kicking he's dreaming that he's chasing something. It's all completely natural.
