Lets face it by the time you have posted this your budgie will hav died so grab your cat say naughty cat out loud then bite it and tell it see how you like it

1) Get the bird to an AVAIN Vet Now
2) If you have Cornstarch, you can use this to help stop the bleading
3) FYI Budgies = Parakeets
4) Now the Bad News. Cats contain virus & germs that are normally deadly to most birds due to infections.

Take your bird to the vet. If a budgie loses even a small amount of blood they could die. They are so small so they only have a small amount of blood. Also cats mouths are full of germs and are very bad for you never mind your bird. good luck

I'm afraid there is little hope for your budgie as the same thing happened to mine (feathers everywhere) . The bird is probably in shock as well, a vet will probably put it down for you so that it isnt in too much pain.

Cats and birds are not a good mix. Seriously, ge that bird to a vet! If he's lost a lot of blood chances are he won't make it, although I hope he does, of course! But they are little to begin with....

take the bird to a vet IMMEDIATELY. it will either die from loss of blood or shock or infection and the vet may be able to save it. Then, since you cannot keep a bird safe, do not get another.
