My dog is limping after a walk and he's really hot. He won't even let me touch his paw, I'm wondering if maybe it is a thorn or if it's something worse. He's not making any noise, and he keeps walking, what to do?

I love all types of dogs, but anyone thinking of adopting should adopt from the SPCA. It is cheaper than a breeders or a pet store, and the dogs are more in need of homes. Look in your local phone book for a phone number under dogs, or SPCA.

I have a friend who's got a little mini chihuahua and they are moving to texas and can't keep him. he's literally the size of a palm and he is soooo sweet. They keep him in his kennel all day though and i feel very motovated to find him a really good home, i would take him, but i've got 2 already. My older dog (10years) is about to die of cancer. We just found out that she only has weeks or months not long though. We want to go get another small dog for our other dog to play with. Would it be better to get it before she dies or better to wait until after she is gone. Some people have told me that she is waiting to die because she wants to make sure that her little dog has someone to play with.

she is having major diarrhea, explosive even. I think that I heard that yougar is good to help her? she only ate two of the placentas but is cleaning up after the pups. Suggestions? ive gotten to notice that my rabbit seems to be 10 x more active at night than in the day, but im talking like from 2 am to 6 am. (i love to stay up late, really late so he stays along with me) so for a period i thought, he was awake all night because he probably slept all day while i was away during the day, but this month of august ive been home all day and he's been awake all day as well, and during the middle of the night he is hyper instead of sleepy as i would figure.

so my question is, are rabbits nocturnal animals?? do they see better in the dark than in the light??

does your rabbit do the same thing?

I just mixed IverCare with some feed because my mare jerks away from me (even when I'm holding onto the halter, practically jerks my arm off). I guess I'm a little afraid of her and she can sense it. Anyway after mixing I read on the box to "make sure the horse has no food in it's mouth". She ate every bite and it went down? Please reply and thanks!

my dog is more than a year old..almost two. last march she had three puppies. she mates with only one dog, my other male dog who's been neutered after the puppies were born (i'm including this info bec it myt help but im not saying it's related to this).

yesterday, i noticed that she pees a lot, like she's incontinent or something. she sits in the peeing position for a long time but the pee is would be just little puddle to a few drops, AND it has got blood i them.she even peed one time with only blood i think, or mostly. i know i shld take her to vet immediately but i recently had a financial problem and im still trying to come up with money for her. i just need to have some idea what might be d problem right now, because i'm rily worried...
