What can I give her to slow down or stop her diarrhea. It's late and I can't get her anything from the vet...what household medicine can I give her? She weighs about 6-8 pounds. Thanks.

I have a Puggle (half Pug half Beagle) and this is the first dog I have ever had. I trained her well (sit, stay, shake, heel, etc) but I can't get her to stop her little jump up and down on me when I come home thing. She does little nips in my fingers when she's doing it and I'm worried she won't stop. I tell her no every single time but she gets so excited, she even does it when I've only been gone long enough to check my mail. My man says she'll grow out of it with age... but like when? She will be one year old in one week I think that technically makes her not a puppy anymore but... So from your experience how long did it take your dog to stop spazzing out?

PS I hope she never outgrows doing random crazy laps around the coffee table though :)

Ok, well, I figured out where I am going to buy my little turtles at: www.turtlesale.com....but, i can't find a place to buy the tank!!! argh! i have tried petco.com, amazon.com, and turtlesale.com...all of them have been either too expensive or too crappy looking...do you have any ideas of a website where i could buy my tank---a reallly good one for a good price...or should i just go to the PetCo store and try to find one...also, has anyone had any experience with Yelllow Belly Turtles??

I am worried that she will be very mad when I have my baby. She has already become agressive toward me just from the first month of pregnancy. Where as six months ago she was loving toward me. She used to coo and rub her face on mine. Now she just bites my face whenever i look at her. Is this temporary? Or will she think of harming my baby. She has only ever liked me. She hates men, and she is even agressive towards my 4 and 5 year old.

I understand that breeders work hard and spend a lot of time improving their breeds...and that is great, I look up to them for that. But why is it when you mention wanting to breed cross-bred dogs they get all bent out of shape about it. First of all if they are just doing it for the money that is one thing...but I dont understand what the big deal is about wanting to dedicate their lives by trying to improve the cross-breed and get it recognized by the AKC. Those people are just trying to do what our ancestors did 100's of years ago to get the breeds we have today. There is NO difference!!! So stop being a dog racist!

i see to find out that my puppy ate a pencil, i saw wooden peices and lead broked up all over my steps. Please help me and tell me what to do, or if my puppys going to be ok. Im not 100% sure he ate the lead, but i am so scared.

My 1 yr. old Yorkie is shivering and panting at the same time with his tongue hanging out of his mouth. His heart is also beating really fast. It's not hot or cold in here - its 76 degrees. Should I be concerned? He still seems alert.

The weather here has been very dry and the fleas are breeding like crazy. I have both of my dogs on flea control medicine and I bathe and dip them weekly, but it doesn't seem to be helping. The fleas have got into the carpet and I can't seem to get rid of them. I have used powders, sprays, foggers and vacuuming. Does anyone have any ideas? I HATE THESE FRIGGING THINGS!
