Yes

"The database showed that dogs who ate the grapes and raisins typically vomited within a few hours of ingestion. Most of the time, partially digested grapes and raisins could be seen in the vomit, fecal material, or both. At this point, some dogs would stop eating (anorexia), and develop diarrhea. The dogs often became quiet and lethargic, and showed signs of abdominal pain. These clinical signs lasted for several days — sometimes even weeks.

When medical care was sought, blood chemistry panels showed consistent patterns. Hypercalcemia (elevated blood calcium levels) was frequently present, as well as elevated levels of blood urea nitrogen, creatinine and phosphorous (substances that reflect kidney function). These chemistries began to increase anywhere from 24 hours to several days after the dogs ate the fruit. As the kidney damage developed, the dogs would produce little urine. When they could no longer produce urine, death occurred. In some cases, dogs who received timely veterinary care still had to be euthanized. "

Not at all. Some dogs love fruit. I had a neighbor that raised Brittanies. Their dogs would literally eat grapes right off of their grape vines. A lot of dogs also like apples. The only people vegetable I have heard was poisonous to dogs and cats is onion. Check with your vet to be sure.

Grapes, raisins, chocolate, raw onion, a lot of sugar, a number of house plants, and excessive amounts of raw garlic are all bad for dogs. Chocolate, grapes, raisins, and onions can all kill dogs. Garlic is OK for dogs and can even be good for dogs in small doses. It helps the heart just like it does in people. Just don't feed a lot of it. There are a few more things that aren't good for dogs but you could probably find a list of foods they shouldn't have along with a list of plants that are poisonous online.

Everything in moderation and nothing will kill you.
!or 2 won't hurt a bit.A whole bunch is a different matter entirely.
Same way with chocolate.Dark chocolate is very harmful to dogs and lethal in large amounts. But to hand your dog 1 milk chocolate covered malt ball won't hurt him.My dogs love Milky Way and Three Muskateers. But again they're only allowed a small bite on occasion.

Yes! onions, cow milk and any source of caffine are too
along with many other things..

I think its best to say people food is not good for dogs at all, if you want your dog to live a long healthy life. do not feed them people food, not even once in awhile, once they know that noone its going to feed them, they will learn not to give you the sad puppy dog eyes everytime you eat something.

she ended up being ok, but we were out like a thousand bucks

i don't think anybody knows exactly why, but grapes and raisins can cause kidney failure in dogs.
