I've reading on this site all the adverse reactions from flea medication for pets:

http://www.elversonpuzzle.com/biospotlettersv7.html

and ALL flea medicine has adverse reactions even Frontline and Revolution. Other things I've noted is that most adverse reactions happen to dogs by 2 or 3 to 1.

Now I've just bought my kitten Zodiac Flea and Tick medicine for cats and Kittens but after reading everything, I felt bad for trying to be cheap and my brain was conjuring all these bad images even though the kitten seem ok and washed it off. Now I'm pissed that I let these stories get to me.

So here's the question, we all know generally that Frontline, Revolution and most meds you get from Vets work fine. I've used Frontline myself and aside from it wearing off early, didn't seem to have much adverse affect on my cat. But these OTC's can't ALL be that bad, can they. Otherwise, with the thousands if not millions they sell, they would have an epidemic upon release to the

by mixing different breeds to come up with a specific breed.

So for those of you with purbreds, yours was once mutt too until recognized by the AKC, etc.

Just think the next breed that may be recognized will be...the Cock-A-Poo.

One day it may be the Grifftese or a Puggle.

I just recently adopted 2 male kittens that are now 8 weeks old. They are brothers and they seem to not have any problems with each other. They love to play! but sometimes the bigger one gets a little rough with the runt, and the runt will cry a little bit whenever the bigger one pins him to the ground. I just hope the bigger one of the males isnt getting too rough with the smaller one.

I was just thinking about Steve and I found two ironic twists about his death. The first one that I came up with was that he put his heart into all of the animals (his passion in other words) and he died by having a sting ray's barb pierce him through his chest. The second twist was that he died filming a documentary called "Ocean's Most Deadliest". I've always loved steve and he's really going to be someone I miss. Does anyone else feel like they lost a close relative......poor Terri, Bindi and Bob....

Hello,

I have a kitty who will some times go potty on the couch (both urination and defecation) and all medical, social, emotional issues have been resolved, so I have to live with it. Question is...is a fabric couch or leather couch better for clean up? I can take the cover off of the pillows and wash it and stick the whole big pillow in the shower to rinsh it off. Will a leather couch with leather protector on it clean easily?

Thanks!!

Grifftese is a maltese/brussels griffon mix and are adorable, kind, gentle most loving dog I have ever owned.

If you have one, what do you think of the breed?

I have a chocolate lab who has to spend at least 8 hrs daily 3 days a week at home alone because I work. I adore my dog and was wondering if I should get him a playmate. Do dogs like to play with other doggies?

He didn't have the lumps when I got him from the pound at about 6 weeks old and I noticed them about 2-3 weeks ago and told the vet at a check up. Vet says could be cartilidge bumps from other dogs biting/playing with his ears. Again he was only 6 weeks when I got him from the pound so he hasn't been with a lot of dogs who have been chewing on his ears. One of the lumps/bumps seems bigger to me so I am telling my vet again at our visit next week. But I wondered if anyone had any idea what it is or even ever heard of this?

One of the cats outside had a litter of kittens (2.5 months old now) The kids caught one of the kittens. I kept the kitten separate from my two cats until I gave it a flea bath. I took the towel it way laying on so I could change it, & saw little brown skinny bugs like very very tiny, almost microscopic, crawling on the towel. Also, they are definitely not fleas. It's not my kitten, but I don't want anything to be wrong with it because I have someone who wants to take it. I also don't want to go into my cats vet fund to pay expenses for the kitten. Does anyone know what's wrong? Please help.
