I'd say 25 or 30 bucks if you can afford it. She had to clean the litter boxes, feed them, and make sure everything was ok. She may have only been in the house for about 15 min each time but she probably felt really improtant doing this job for you.
Also if you pay her well and you need her help again, she will make sure she does a good job. But make sure she did do a good job this time. If she didn't let her know what she should have done (in a nice way)

It all depends on how old the kid is...if he's 10, I'd say somewhere between 20-40 bucks..only because you know that the kid will forget, and the mom or dad will be doing a lot of the work. If the kid is, let's say, around 13, then I'd say something like 50 bucks, and that is being VERY generous.

When we're out of town we pay the kids next door $10 a day to come in and feed them and change their water.

Depends on the needs of your cats. If its a basic, scoop food/change water once a day thing, I'd say $10 is fine.
If your cats need a variety in their diet (say 1/2 canned food) or medicine, or need more attention than once a day, I'd up it to $20, but include bringing in the paper and mail, and maybe watering plants.

We pay a minimum of $10 a day for care of our cats. But, we also bring a small gift back for the kid next door.

It depends. I used to get $20 for feeding 2 dogs for week or so. I was happy to have it. Adjust for inflation , maybe $40 now. Something like that.

well we pay our neighbor $10 for a week but she comes in maybe 3 times ...so depends on how often (daily, twice a day, etc. ) you want them to go in and check on ur kitties. ( $10 is still a nice round even number)
