i have a down comforter and my dog urinated once and keeps doing it in the same spot. I want to know how to get it out.

wash it with baking soda.

the baking soda eliminates the dogs scent so it wont smell its spot to pee on.

make sure you watch him like a hawk to and case him away and yell "bad dog!" before he pees.

You can try natures miracle. You can find it in pets stores all over. It works pretty good. I know down comforters are super expensive, and I'm sure you want to try and save it. It's worked for me on a ton of different things. I work in a grooming shop and use it in my laudry along with oxyclean. It really gets the smell and stains out of some pretty raunchy towels. My puppy did the same thing I took it to a dry cleaner who handles down and it came out great. I looked into Dryel but they didn't recommend feathers. good luck

wrap the dog up in the comforter and throw it out on garbage day!

they have a spray at walmart and even on tv that works for that. its called urine be gone. we have some and it works great

go to a laundry mat and bring three tennis balls with you wash it with your detergent of choice and three cups of vinegar wash in hot water then wash again and repeat with soap and downy in second wash use the tennis balls in the dryer keeps the tangles out it worked for me hope it works for you.....
