First, are you sure they are male and female? If so, are they in cages close to each other? Try putting them side by side for about 1-2 weeks. That way they can get use to each other. Prepare a nest box for them. Then try to put them together. You may have to try this a few times. Tip: you can breed any type of cockatiel with another. They might not get along at first also. And sometimes they wont ever get along and they just might not be a pair. So all you can do is try.

one get a good book on the breeding of cockatiels, you need one. Two how do you know if the lutino is a male, it can be hard to tell even for a seasoned breeder to sometimes tell. And just because they are breeding age why should they be bred the market for them is swamped already. Do you know how to hand feed the young so they are tame, they dont sell if not tame. And there is no preparing them for breeding they require a nest box that is the size required for a cockateil, they know what to do. And how do you know they are breeding age. Sounds like you have a lot of homework to do before you even consider breeding them.

I'm with rain why in the world would you want to breed them?
Are they at the very least 18 months of age? Two years old for tiel is better.
Are they caged together now, if no this could take time for them to get used to each other. And then they still may hate each other.
Have you begun to build the female up so she will not have problems.
You know you must pull the chicks and handfeed each one every 3 to 4 hours?
You may want to do more research before you try this.

No reason you can't mix a grey and a lutino...

Get them a high quality feed and provide them with a nest box and nesting materials. They should take care of the rest.

Good luck

you extremely not in any respect comprehend with mutated mom and dad. even with the reality that you've informed us really what mutation the mom and dad seem, without a blood attempt; you'll not in any respect comprehend which genes are mendacity dormant in the mom and dad. (some genes do not seem, notwithstanding the birds nevertheless carry them and ought to pass them into their offspring) in case you knew precisely what genes the mom and dad were wearing, you are able to make a chart and locate out each and every of the plausible mixtures for offspring, and which genes are dominant and that are recessive; and in conserving with that, which mutations the toddlers ought to carry. P.S. Please do not attempt to reproduce you birds, nonetheless. Cockatiels require hand-feeding with a view to be human-tame when they hatch; and without extremely specialist practise, you won't be able to probable hand feed a snatch of birds perfect. Plus, poultry rescue shelters are already overrun with Cockatiels, and except you've the money to maintain all of them seperately caged on your homestead; you'll have a rabbit farm without delay with Tiels popping out of your ears. because you won't be able to spay & neuter birds, human beings continuously justify breeding their pets with "I plan on conserving each and every of the toddlers." yet it really is basically no longer realistically probable. :-(
