I love calico cats. But my sister doesn't and my mom, I'm not sure what to get her. Keep in mind the two cats will be in the same house. Be serious or else I'm reporting you to yahoo.

This will probably focus on cats and dogs, but by all means mention other pets (hamsters, etc.) if it seems worth mentioning, even if they are otherwise little or slow.

I have a Persian Tom and would like to know how to stop it farting, its 7 months old and has long hair. Hes had his innoculations but is not yet spayed, would that explain the smell? We feed him felix good as it looks, in the silver foil packs. And we bath him once a fortnight.

The only bad things I have ever heard about this breed of dog come from the media. I find it strange that, even though Pit Bull 'attacks' are apparently so 'common place' they always seem to make the news. Even then I find it strange that the dog's involved in the attacks are always (without fail) desrcribed as 'pit bulls' or 'pit bull type dogs' when nobody has the faintest idea what the breed of dog was. For all the news reporters know it could have been a labrador or a cocker spaniel and for that the nations pit bull fear got ingrained deeper still.

I trust my pit bull with my life, she has never shown me any aggression or anyone else for that matter. I feel perfectly safe around her teeth. But my face got scared for life by a poodle and I've been cornered by a snapping yorkie.

I find it so sad that the media seem to be on a witch hunt for this dog. It's just not fair.

I just bought a baby one yesterday. I have a basking spot lamp that says it is a double reflector that focuses 35% more light/heat and provides beneficial UVA rays important to the psycholical well-being of him. My question is does that mean it gives him not only the heat, but the "sun rays" he needs? I also was wondering how long should this light be on. The lady at pet smart said 4 hours, but on places on the net it says 10 to 12 hours. He's getting used to his new home, but hasn't eatin yet. I have bearded dragon juvenile food and freeze- dried crickets. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for your time.

I'm thinking of getting a miniature pinscher and would like to know if my dog would be good with him.
Please no answers from people who don't know what they're talking about! I'd like to hear from someone who has a jack russell and another dog or someone who just knows dogs really well.

rubber nipple from a bottle. you see, we found him 3 weeks early and couldnt bear to see him hurt on the side of the road so we got him and took him in and fed him with a bottle. well my aunt, who didnt know how to feed him practically shoved the bottle in his mouth and the nipple broke and he swallowed it. since then he has been acting right...but the other day he had a seizure and dontmove around and act playful like he used to. do you think that is an indication of the rubber in him? help please! and thanks to anyone who can. :)

Ok, my dog swallowed a sock laying around. When i noticed I tried to pull it out of her mouth, but then she swallowed it. She doesn't seem like she's in any pain at all. Do you think she'll poop it out?

Our horse is at a local boarding stable, and he's usually out in the pasture in the night, and in during the day, since its been so hot. Well, a couple nights ago, there was a rain storm with some thunder, and he got spooked, and apparently took off full speed running and hit his head on a tree branch, and was nearly scapled!! He has about a 6 inch gash accross his head, not to mention a fractured skull, there were bone fragments in the wound, but the vet thinks he got them all..... Today, the sedation is completely worn off, he is eating, his wound is draining well, he pretty much acts like himself, but, we noticed he has no sight in one eye.....Could this be temporary?

Has anyone ever experienced this type of thing with their horse, and what was the out come???

Answers from only experienced horse owners please...

I want a puppy that would be good in an apartment. We will take it out a lot for walks and things like that. I would love one with long hair or fluffy hair[I don`t mind the shedding] and one that will cuddle and won`t make a ton of noise. It would be nice if it was easy to train.

I also have a bird.. Would the puppy be a danger to it? I could just keep it out of that room if it would, though. The cage is hanging.

Thanks! <3
