i have seen video on peta's web site and OMG it is SAD real sad i think if you love animals and go to the circus to see the animals you should watch the videos to understand why 18 elephants have died in the past few yrs. you will change your mind.

My parents aren't planning to buy Havanese in a while. I don't want to wait anymore though. I want a dog in the worst way. My mom is ok with getting a dog but my dad so far does not want a dog at all. I am trying to find out ways into talking my dad into geting a dog but it is not going so well.

She threw up five times yesterday and now she threw up some blood. The only thing she ate all day yesterday was a couple of cookies & she seemed to drink a lot less water than usual.

I'm guessing this has something to do with me giving her some rib bones Friday night. Believe me, I know I'm an idiot. My wife has been telling me for the last 24 hours.

Based on these symptoms, does anybody have a suggestion of what I should do? Should I take her to the vet immediately?

It is very strange, my other turtle is very active and it's shell is hard and normal. It opens its eyes and is very energetic.

The other turtle doesn't like to play and its eyes are closed a lot. It doesn't move a lot and its not dead.

I looked it up and a website said colder water than is needed could trick the turtle to think it is hibernation but my water is normal temperature and I warmed it up a bit. The other turtle doesn't respond to this water the same way at all.

I feed it properly but it doesn't have a bif appetite. Is this turtle lacking something? How can I help it?...

PS. This turtle is a small water/land turtle.

How much should it cost to get a cat bathed? Pet Co. quoted $42-52. That sounds a bit high. But, maybe that's because of cats' difficult temperaments.

Does anyone know how they do it & what methods they use? I'm hoping that they can make it less stressful for the cat than if I did it myself. Not to mention being safer for me. ;-)

Does anyone know if it helps with a person who has cat allergies? We just brought my dad's cat over to our house so we can take care of it while he is sick & unable to care for it. (It may be a few weeks or a few months.) My partner is allergic to cats. So, we're trying to figure out what we can do to help ease his allergies other than giving him a bunch of medicine & keeping the cat out of the bedroom.

When we go to visit his mom he usually acclimates to her cats by the end of our trip. (And doesn't need to keep taking allergy medicine every day.) I'm hoping that will happen here. But, in the meantime we'd like to minimize his reaction.
