I got 2 female gerbils yesterday, and they are already humping. What's the matter with them, cuz girls shouldn't be humping girls.

Actually, I believe that it is a dominance issue but it would not hurt to call the pet store if you are unsure.
Look at the bright side - if it is a male and a female, you only had to pay for two and you have the potential for more!

Are you sure they are both females ? 99% of the time pet stores dont have a clue about the animals much less what sex they are. Make sure they are really females, if they are then one is just trying to be more dominant...but I doubt that...sounds like you have a male and female with babies on the way.

They are lesbian gerbils??! You know when you stuck are in a same-gender environment, you got no place to release your emotions so you do it on the girls.

they do that to tell each other who is the boss, cuz my dogs do it all the time and they are girls. just keep ignoring them, or if you feel very weird, seperate them, but it is just natural, just as natural as trees
