My friend does this and that dog seems so lonesome. I have begun bringing him to my house when I can but cannot always do it. I recommended she get another dog for company since she must be away so often.

My cat has fleas and I want to treat him quickly but i have to wait to get the meds., can I at least wash off the flea dirt? I know I can wash him but I only have dog shampoo... Hartz® LIVING™ Groomer's Best® All-Purpose Shampoo to be exact. I have interned with a vet before and saw cats go into shaking fits from dog flea meds, but this is just shampoo. Will it hurt him? Can I use it? Please help me!!! I don't want to hurt him, but cannot deal with flea dirt all over my bed and his appointment isn't for a week and a half. i have no way to get anywhere right now and I'll be lucky if i can even in the next few days, all I want to know is if i can use dog shampoo on him...??? oh and I will be getting revolution flea stuff for him as soon as his vet appointment. By the way my cat is 2 and has never had fleas before, I think he got them from either sitting in the window screen or, the new harness I got him from petco.

I've already posed this question before, but am now seeking imput from reputable breeders. Please explain to me, from your point of view, why puppies are so expensive? Especially toy breeds. I went to adopt a little doxie from an agency like my fellow yahooers suggested on my last question, but he was the same price. I'm sorry, but I can't afford to spend 500 dollars to purchase a dog and 500-700 more to take care of him too. I would treat him like any other person in our family. We work to provide for ourselves and I would work to provide for him.

Apologies for the rambling, truly sorry, but I would honestly like to hear from some breeders as to why puppies are so expensive to purchase.

i just bought 30 goldfish..they all vary in sizes....the biggest is about 5 lbs

...right now..i have my fishing pole and i just cast the line into the tank...with a hook on it....and a worm as bait on the hook....
do you think i can catch one of my goldfishs?

The b@stard boys have killed it along with its siblin who flew from the nest last night. Police and rspca just said to leave it alone. I feel sick to the stomach. There's one more baby due to leave and i can only assume the worst will happen to this one too. What the hell do young kids want in a church yard anyways!!!

I recently took in a 5-week-old kitten I found on the side of the road. I took her to the vet and was told she had a severe ear infection, but other than that she appeared okay. She's been receiving her antibiotics and is now running, jumping, eating solid food, drinking water, and maintaining a normal life like any kitten would. The only problem is that the kitten has not gone to the bathroom in over 48 hours. What can I do to help with this problem? I've heard of rubbing a warm towel on her rear until she goes to the bathroom, but will this work for a kitten of this age? Will she do it on her own if I get her introduced to the litter box? I'm worried that something may be wrong if she hasn't gone to the bathroom in so long, but she seems fine. Any advice?
