The b@stard boys have killed it along with its siblin who flew from the nest last night. Police and rspca just said to leave it alone. I feel sick to the stomach. There's one more baby due to leave and i can only assume the worst will happen to this one too. What the hell do young kids want in a church yard anyways!!!

I'm not sure what happen cause i didn't see the other part of your question. Maybe you can call a local wild bird rehab and see if they can take the bird for you?

I'm so sorry - those boys are disgusting - you know, humans who are cruel to animals are also cruel to other humans. The authorities you contacted sound bloody useless too >:-( Don't feel guilty, you're trying the best you can. I strongly suggest that you contact some wildlife carers instead of those bureaucracies. Wildife carers might be a lot more help - I've got a lot of links to wildlife carers from a lot of countries on my site, at

I can't believe the rspca is doing nothing about it. Those kids just broke the law. I would go over there and kick those kids butts if you see them harassing the birds again.

birds had it coming.......after all......everyone knows that building a nest in a tree or whatever...gets the death penalty...
