I have never had a cat who genuinely liked to be wet. I've had a couple that would tolerate it, but none of them liked it. It's perfectly normal.

Sorry to tell you this after you have been fooled by photos showing cats getting baths - cats do not like being wet. By the way have you seen a photo of a happy cat during those bath times?

there is nothing wrong with the cat- most do not enjoy baths.
Unless your cat is extremely dirty, baths are not necessary. Simply brush him/her regularly and, if you feel is needed, wipe down the fur with some nonscented baby wipes. During a cat's normal grooming, a cat will clean itself well enough. Bathing can actually strip your kitty of necessary protective oils.

Perfectly natural. It is okay for cats not to like baths because cats hate water.

Wow, thats no longer exciting. Did you basically circulate recetnly? New carpte? New different puppy? something new that the cat would be unhappy approximately ? Is it strickly an indoor cat or in and outdoors? My wager is this cat became into abused via somebody on an identical time because it became into exterior, it have been given poisoned, cats will lick transmission fluid, it ought to of gotten a head harm or different harm that heavily isn't beein seen. Its sick or having psychological subject concerns for sure. i might call some vets and ask them in the event that they're familiar with this concern, that the cats been seen taken care of and see if there is somone who has dealt with this in the previous. i might examine and touch each sq. inch and seem for a thorn, a sprint bit glass, a bruiste, a spider chunk mark. solid success on that, undesirable kitty, and undesirable you too.

That's completely normal. Some animals don't like to bathe. It depends on their personality. Cats may not be able to talk but all animals have a personality.

You have to TRAIN them from baby kitty's to like baths. Take them to bathe with YOU when your taking one and play with them to distract them, only this way can they "learn" to like them. Otherwise, your taking the OILS FROM THEIR FUR and its not really natural to them.
Same for riding in cars, you have to do it young or it disturbs their inner ear. So start from a young age so they can adjust and not throw up everywhere and get carsick or hide under the seats. They aren't dogs who often love cars.
Same for potty training. You can buy a plastic insert from PetCo or other good pet stores or online that you can raise your toilet lid and put under it. Then put kitty litter in. Your cat will then stand on the toilet and use it for a litter box, after a while, you remove the litter box from the toilet so they can use the toilet itself.
Good luck!
