no, you would use a water soluble lubricant like K Y jelly or surgilube.

The vaseline is useful prior to welping. Helps with the yelping! OMG, did I say that?

You're supposed to disinfect the area BEFORE you put it on! Does the term dumb a s s mean anything to you?
