They are excellent dogs, good-tempered and excellent around children. The only drawback is that they need lots of exercise.

Any kind of Lab needs a yard to run around in, and a daily walk/jog with its owner. Labs will get overweight and suffer from hip problems if they don't get enough exercise.

[cutesy voice] ... dey such big sweeties...

I have a chocolate lab that is 9 months old. He is hyper but very lovable. He needs tons of exercise! If I do not exercise him he is very destructive...a very fun dog though!

They have brown fur. They eat like a horse and drink like a cow. They crap like an elephant. They love kids, and make great feet warmers.
If you train em right, they even fetch slippers and papers, and even ducks and geese.

i have one. she is 10 months old. loves to play fetch, especially with a tennis ball. they say to exercise your dog 10 minutes for every 10 lbs of weight. mine is 50 lbs, so she gets 50 min of exercise twice a day... just because then she falls asleep easier ;)
