Absolutely!
First, the spider is good protein for the hamster. What do you think hamsters eat in the wild?
Secondly, it is one less spider in your house.
What you have there, my friend, is a spider killing machine. Praise it and hopefully it will keep on eating spiders.

No, chicken would have tasted better. No, just kiddding. Just watch him and see if he gets sick, or maybe call a vet if you can find one open on a Sunday. I didn't know hamsters ate insects. Was it a poisonous spider? Maybe he got lucky and didn't eat a poisonous one, so he didn't ingest any poison? Good luck with this.

if he does not get sick sure and it was not a poisonous one most house spiders are not grass and jumper and crab spiders are non poisonous you can tell a crab spider cause he walks like a crab.
