It cost me $120 CAN and they almost killed my cat because they left a piece of gauze lodged in her trachea, the said it was normal for her to be breathing funny and sounding very fluid like....turned out it wasnt I stayed up all night with her and she wasnt drinking and was struggling to breathe finally I used a syringe to make her drink some water and she puked up a chunk of gauze about an inch in diameter..... I was sooo pissed I freaked. SO make sure you tell them to count the gauze like in humans before and after to ensure getting them all out.

There's the time it takes to do the procedure. It depends on how much work is involved: Is there a lot of tartar? Do any teeth need to be pulled? Then there's the polish that makes the teeth white. Sometimes, the animal is also given a pain med. Each of these factors goes into what the bill will come out to.
