rubber nipple from a bottle. you see, we found him 3 weeks early and couldnt bear to see him hurt on the side of the road so we got him and took him in and fed him with a bottle. well my aunt, who didnt know how to feed him practically shoved the bottle in his mouth and the nipple broke and he swallowed it. since then he has been acting right...but the other day he had a seizure and dontmove around and act playful like he used to. do you think that is an indication of the rubber in him? help please! and thanks to anyone who can. :)

If you think he swallowed the tip, this could be a very serious issue. Any foriegn body could cause an obstruction. If this is actually the case, please seek veterinary assistance immediately. Cats will die if intestinal obstructions are not taken care of-usually surgically.
However, if your cat had a seizure, did you ask the vet about it then? Seizures are just as serious. It sounds as if you have a very sick kitty. He should probably be hospitalized.

Well if he gets really strange acting, take him to a vet. But I knew a cat who used to end up swallowing a lot of rubber items. No idea why lol. But, it didn't bother him. The cat may just feel a little sick. If it gets worse, take it to the vet. It really depends on the size of the thing.

The cat should be seen if it had a seizure. The most common signs of an intestinal obstruction are: no bowel movements and vomiting often accompanied by lack of appetite. Have you noticed if there are any stools in the litter box? Please try to see if it has had bowel movements. Please take the cat to the vet if he is not acting right and especially for the seizure. A

Well fist of all if the cat had a seizure he needs vet care, and yes the nipple could be blocking his intestines. I think you need to see a vet!

Definitely call a vet on this one. The rubber will probably clog his intestines and it could be very painful and deadly.

u need to take him to the vet right away so they can remove it before any internal damage is done.

take him to the vet and tell him what happened he'll fix it all if you do not the cat will probly die.
