How do you take the sticky part of Duct Tape off a glass window?

I'm in college and on a late night we thought it woud just be a great idea to put the word howdy on my dorm room window in duct tape

I pulled all the letters off and the dy of howdy didn't come off like the other piece (the gray part ripped away from the sticky part which was stuck on the glass window)

schools almost over and i'm going to need to get this off or i'll be fined... this winter it like froze to the window but it's summer time.

any idea on how 2 get it off?

I have a small indoor lavender bush in my home. On occasion, as lavender does, it gets too 'leggy' and I give her a haircut. I have no idea what to do with clippings. I love the smell to much to throw it out but I don't cook with lavender all that much.

I have a box room which is very stuffy and makes it hard to sleep at night, even when the weather isn't particularly hot.

It has two uncovered vents, and when I'm here, the windows are left open until I go to bed (can't leave them open overnight due to the noise outside), but the temperature still seems very warm and makes it very stuffy. It's enough to make people sweat.

Is there anything I can get to try and make it less stuffy? Preferably something under £50 (so not an expensive air conditioner), and something that doesn't take up tons of electricity.

Thanks in advance.

My mother in law has a lovely yard - in ground pool, nice flower beds and a very thorough underground transit system for moles. Unfortunately, "Underground Mole Transit System" doesn't read well on a listing for a house for sale (not that she's selling her house). How can we get rid of these little buggers. I think she's tried traps, chemicals, sonic repellents, juicy fruit gum, spraying for grubs... just about everything short of blowing up the whole yard and starting new... and I think she's getting close to considering that option.

Any ideas?

I am contemplating buying a GE Profile double oven free-standing cooking range. The top oven is convection, the lower oven is conventional. Does anyone have one, are you happy with it, any problems, advice, etc.?

The skunk got into the house thru an open door (you wouldnt believe if I told you, so I wont). Later, the kids thot the skunk might be 'just shadows'. Thats night one. Nite 2, the skunk gets spotted by a neighbors son. It's late so we get on the web and it is suggested we make a sub for the skunk---skunks dont like subs. Since then, we set two traps in the house. Last night, we tried opening the same door and watching for him to meander out on his own, luring him w/tuna. This is day 3...There is an odor in the basement that is not skunk spray (yet) but still nasty. Animal control will remove the varmit for $200 but cant do it today or tomrw....the critter has been a better house guest than some of the teen friends---but he's got to go. when you get done laffing about the sub and making fun of the situation, I would appreciate your help...skunk bait, habits, lure, trap ideas, how to get rid of smell(not spray)? skunk is active in from 1-3pm...cause bsment is dark---

For example: people have rearranged my belongings in the medicince cabinet, moved my grandmother's antique dresser and damaged the mirror in the process, pulled apart my kitchen table and not put it back together, and left ALL the lights on in the house after a showing. The most disgusting occurence happened yesterday though. Someone used my bathroom (which was spotless when I left) and was kind enough to leave some rather nasty "evidence" behind. I always thought it was appropriate to open closet doors and cabinets to check the space but you should leave the house as you found it. Any words of advice other than installing a hidden camera to see what else really goes on during a showing?

And there's been a major problem with a burst water main and so the traffic has all been diverted. What would have been a perfect day, quiet and traffic free, is now hell on earth.
I cannot leave my house. What do you do?

for some time now, my toilet makes odd noises after it's flushed. actually, it's not the toilet, it seems to be the pipes or the plumbing or something. after the toilet is flushed, it a) takes ages to fill up, and b) i hear this knocking or juddering sound, sometimes for ages afterwards. it sounds like loose pipes or something juddering away.
any plumbers about that know about this sort of thing? two different plumbers have come to have a look and told us two different things, neither of which seemed to make any difference!
also, i never had any problems with our old toilet, just this new one that's been installed. could something have happened when it was put in?

...an outdoor tennis court; a large outdoor in-ground swimming pool; or an indoor ten-pin bowling alley with a single lane?

This would not only include the cost of materials and labor, but ongoing maintenance as well.

I have recently acquired some that smell very musty/mildewy, though they look fine. And I have also acquired one that smells like stale cigarette smoke.
