Hello all! I am a college student attending Eastern Michigan University, and I am about to move in one of the University's apartments- the Munson Apartments. I am wondering should I buy an air cooler? I do not think that my apartment building will let me use a window air conditioner so I was wondering does the air coolers work? Also, what price is a good buy? Thanks

I am growing radishes I thought today is the 28th day but its not . there is no radish produced yet the leaves and stems them selves stand about2 inches tall right now. how many days do you think i have left before they will be ready for harvest. also they are in pots i have problems with my lawn mowing serivice. my cucumber plants are standing at about 4 inches tall and my squash and pumpkin plants are the same. In about how long wll it be before i see any growth on them. all of my vegetables are potted. reason stated above. what should I do to ensure my plants stay healthy other than water and sunlight. how do i keep afids away. sorry but I am new. I sort of just developed my green thumb.

Or do I have to buy security film? I only seem to find privacy film at Home Depot and Lowes. Is this stuff crap or will it work? What about if a intruder is motivated enough to keep hitting your window?

We have had our swimming pool for a couple of years, and it works great, but, this year it seems to be oddly blue. Infact, it's so blue that the shallow end looks foggy, and you can only see about to the half way mark before its unreconizable. Is this because we put too much of something in it? Or maybe that it will just take time for the blue to clear out?

Each year we get more and more rabbits in the neighborhood eating all the beautiful flowers my neighbors and I plant. Unfortunately, this year, we have also found some dead baby rabbits that my dog must have killed. We have a fenced in backyard and just let our dog out. I have to let the dog out as I don't have time to walk her, but it's so sad about the babies. What can I do?

The exhaust fan is always ceiling-mounted and pulls the stink right up past your nose thus limiting your reading time. Some one should invent something like the exhaust they have on Jenn-aire stoves, except for a bathroom...just a question...all the other world crisis are solved...

I know that sounds silly, but I just wondered. In any newer home (in like the past 25 years) you can't use the attic because it's full of insulation and such.

Why don't they make attics like they used to? With extra storage space? That would be so cool!

Okay back to my originial question, why do home builders still make attics on houses if it's just an empty void? Why not make a flat roof with a chance to plant gardens then?
