You will have to check with your landlord since it depends on the city code laws. Where I lived the BBQ grill had to be 50 ft away from the building & not on the grass.

What are the rules of the Building's "Body Corporate"? Have You checked the Fire Zoning Regulations? I Would, along with the Household Contents and Third Party Coverage of any Insurance Policies pertaining to the aforementioned property.

If you pull grill outside 10 ft. from bldg. It would be a better idea to check with landlord first to avoid any future problems.

I would call and ask your apartment manager. We had one place that said yes, then our next lease indicated grilling was not allowed.
