I have a small indoor lavender bush in my home. On occasion, as lavender does, it gets too 'leggy' and I give her a haircut. I have no idea what to do with clippings. I love the smell to much to throw it out but I don't cook with lavender all that much.

Hang the clipped bunched together upside down until they are dried, once dried, lavender will last almost forever.
Remove stalks and pop the leaves and flower heads into a cotton bag and place in your wardrobe or draws, make smaller bags for your pillow cases the bed will smell wonderful plus you'll have a relaxing sleep, lavender is renowned for it's relaxing properties.

Put them in little muslin bags and use as sachets in drawers. Or just put them into a flat dish as an air freshener around the house.
