I've already moved the thing as far away from the kitchen as possible, but it still goes off constantly whenever I cook anything. Toasting a bagel to even a light brown will cause the siren to sound within a couple minutes. I swear, I'm not THAT bad at cooking.

would you hire someone to come each week on the day before garbage removal to move all ur garbage to the front of ur house, so it can be ready for garbage pick-up the next day?

and if you do,
how much will u like to pay him a month?
would you let this person enter ur priority (back yard) to take ur garbage every week?

For the past 4 days I have been shocking everything I touch. Everytime I turn on a light switch, I get shocked and it's really very irritating. Not to sound like a baby, but some of the shocks hurt more than I'd expected it to. Everytime I touch someone, I shock them and it won't stop at all.

I asked a question on Y!A about how to get rid of static electricity and was only offered one answer - I need a humidifier. I currently don't have one and have no idea when I could get one. So is there any possible way to sort of create a humidifier-like thing in my home? It's a confusing question but I hope someone understands. Is there a way I could create a humidified atmosphere in my home without going out to buy one? Or if anyone else has ANY tips on how to get rid of this static electricity another way, I'd be SOOOO grateful.

I am very desperate here.

Thanks.

We have a bed which has amazing storage inside, much much more than your standard divan with 4 drawers but you have to lift the mattress to access it, it was specially made for us and sent from India.
Only thing is, it didnt travel well and the condition of the bed is not so good. I havent seen anything remotely like it here in the UK and we really do need something with similar storage as our house has absolutely no storage space.

Anyone got any suggestions?

We are thinking of getting new deck furniture, and I love the comfort of the ones where the chairs have thick padded pillows for the seats and the back. Do the pillows have to be brought inside when it rains? I am concerned about mold developing in them if I leave them outside. What's your experience with them?

Since the wintery weather has set in, I figured there wasn't a hose pipe ban any more and so celebrated by leaving mine on all night, pouring water down the hill I live at the top of, overnight.

When I got up this morning I had a fantastic ice slide from one end of the road to the other.

However, there were some angry looking people banging on my front door.

Have I got myself into trouble again?

My neighbor says she wants to discontinue her internet access and might sell the computer. They are a family of four and the kids are 15 and 11. Her main justification is that she doesnt want the children exposed to inappropriate/obscene information.

I don't want to address her fear here. I'd like to compile a list of the top practical uses for the computer w internet access for a family and home owner, so that she can realize how necessary and useful it is! For example, how she can maybe ...save money indirectly, must-have website info,...
(anything you think would make her reconsider. she describes herself as practical, no frills, economical, conservative)

Thanks!

I keep having these very tiny brown bugs crawling on the walls. I feel that they have grown fatter than when I first noticed it few years ago... I have cleaned my walls many times but these irritating bugs still comes back. I really can't trace from where they have come from.

These bugs are alike those you can found on old yellowed books.

Some time ago I saw on the Channal 8, 10pm news that someone has bought a new set of Sofa and there are tiny little bug crawling out from it. I feel they could be the same types of bugs.

Could someone tell me, if they have encountered similar scenarios... any solutions to get ride of these creatures? becos this bugs problem has been bugging me for too long now. I am going to shift house soon, I want to make sure they do not follow me. Help! Help!
