a safe, locking closet or cabinet with a catch pan (for leaks) for safely storing household chemicals.

Never:

Store acids and bases together (such as Drain-O and Red Devil Lye)

Never store bleach and ammonia (glass cleaner) together--the combination is deadly

PS: It could refer to a chemical toilet (in the British lingo called a water closet) also.
