Is there a construction schedule, a step by step process on each procedure to build a new residential home?

2) lot
I have these 2 items...
survey lot
clear lot
dig
then what?

deck

windows
(siding..some people wait until after drywall is up)
electric/plumbing
well/septic
insulation
drywall
underlayment
flooring (hard)
trim
odds and ends...
I'm sure I may have forgotten something..but my fiance and I are in the final stages of building...phew!!! good luck to you!!!
**don't forget about scheduling the inspector!!

Permits, permits, permits... every stage, every subtrade... the town office will know you in no time! When you pick up the corresponding permit, find out how much notice you need to give the inspector and how often and at what stages he needs to come for his specific expertise.
