you have to make saw cuts in the back at regular intervals, partway into the wood. this lets it flex. make the cuts across the width of the sheet opposite of the way you want it to bend. kinda hard to explain in words.

It's not really needed to put saw cuts in it. 1/2 inch will bend quite a bit. Keep it wet and try a rope around it to bend it. Every day tighten the rope more and more. After a week or two it can be bent alot if you keep it damp.
