I had the freezer on number 3 on the dial and all the food would get ice on it within hours of putting it in there. Then I turned it down to 1, same thing. I just turned it all the way up to 7 to see what will happen. I can't figure it out. Is there ice on everything becase it is to warm or to cold?

Thank you!

I have a DeWalt keyless drill model #D21008K that I loaned to a friend of mine.

Apparently, he left it outside and now the keyless chuck won't disengage. I checked the Dewalt site and can't find any useful information for this...

If any of you folks have had this problem, I'd appreciate suggestions.

Save your typing time if you are going to tell me to have my friend buy me a new drill. I'd prefer to save the drill I have If I can.

Smart answers are fun, but USEFUL answers are respected.

My dryer is an old one; it may be from before 1980. It was in my mobile home when I moved in, with no owner's manual. The model number is DDG7188PKLWH. Does anyone know where I can get info on how to change the belt, or have any tips for me?

Light fixtures and electrical boxes must have a ground. Yet lamps, that get touched often, have only a 2 prong plug. In fact most things like clocks, TVs, VCRs, lamps, vac, toaster, can opener, ETC don't have a ground plug at all. It seems that grounding really isn't that important for our safety.

Has anyone else experienced a house "flood" when the icemaker in the icebox went awry during a vacation?
This happened to my relatives while they were on vacation for 2 weeks, and returned to find the house flooded. Does this happen often? thanks, everyone.

I live in MO and my water pipes are right under the house. It is freezing down there and my pipes are freezing. I have been defrosting them by dropping a space heater down a hole in the floor but am afraid the pipes are going to burst eventually. Should I keep a space heater down there? Leave the hot or cold water dripping? To get new pipes put in to prevent this will cost quite a bit and will not be able to be done until Spring. This is past annoying.

I am trying to find the contact information for a company in Australia who manufactures a wall switch that has a small key to turn the ower on/off. The only thing I know about the wall switch is that on the key there are marking (AF) Australia. These type of wall switches I have saw while in the Philippines at a hotel I was staying at the hotel had it hooked up to the A/C unit. The switch allows the person to insert the key and turn the air conditioner on/off.

When I turn the cooktop on for boilling water or cooking, I can smell gas (very light), but when it is off, I don't smell gas, and I did a check up by burn a match and place around the area where flame suppose to come out when the stove is on, the result was "notthing happen", no flame, no smell. The technician from The Gas Company told me that if I don't smell gas when the stove is off, then it is not gas leak. But why do I keep smell gas when the stove is on? Does it cost a lot to replace a 36" by 21" 4 burners cooktop?

Thank you for your answer.

I have a fan light fixture that is controlled by remote and it will turn on and off by itself. The remote can be sitting on the table and the fan just turns on, or light turns on. Weird.
