Clean the gas tank out, check air filter, then remove the spark plug and fill the cylinder with a light oil such as WD 40 and let it soak for 24 hours. Ok Now place a rag over the spark plug hole and turn the engine. This will keep you from breaking the rings. Turn the engine over until all the oil in cylinder is expelled.. Change the oil and fill the gas tank with fresh gas, install the new spark plug. Chock the engine and start it

drain gas tank replace spark plug change oil then try and start
if n/g clean carburator check for spark and compression

give it a tune up. make sure there is oil and gas in it.
