I am looking for advice for colours for my room. I want to go for two colours one being a kinda warm white and then I need a colour to complement this. Any ideas? Are there any good UK based websites (either for stores or just paint ideas) that I can look at?

It's lining paper that I want to paint over which has started to come away a little in places. I don't want to strip it off and start again because the walls will probably fall apart (it's a an old house). Just wondering if there is a trick to sticking down the flappy bits?

I have tried Breathe Easy Paint but it takes ages to dry Also it does not seem to stay brilliant white very long.

I bought a house with a large tub and can't remove it from the house with tearing out the whole bathroom. The only problem with the tub is that it's 1950's baby blue. I've heard you could hire some one to refinish the the tub. I think they sand-blast it, not sor sure though. Anyway, I just dont know what these people are called? The professional name so I can look one up in the phone book.

my dad is building a house so i'm doing this from scratch. i've already thought of the color of the walls {{a grayish purplish bluish...one of those colors where you look at it and ask "is that gray or blue or purple?"}} and i'm thinking of painting my floor a dark purple and having people sign it with a metallic sharpie, and hanging CD's over my room shiny part out. but i still feel like even if i do all that, i'm still missing something. i still have my medium sized walk in closet, powder room, and bathroom to decorate as well. I like funky stuff {{as you can probably tell}}, except i DONT like posters. I'm open to a lot of ideas though, so please help!!
