I found drawer pulls for $.99 each on Ebay. Fabric is probably also pretty reasonable.
Ace Hardware's website had the cheapests and best selection of things like door sweeps and icemaker lines. Free shipping to the local store.

Try yard sales and second-hand stores. It's amazing what you can do with an old piece of furniture and a little paint. if you have a chance, watch the Trash to Treasure segment of Decorating Cents (HGTV). They have some awesome ideas for turning junk into cool decorative elements.
