I am looking for advice for colours for my room. I want to go for two colours one being a kinda warm white and then I need a colour to complement this. Any ideas? Are there any good UK based websites (either for stores or just paint ideas) that I can look at?

Try the Dulux website - they give advice on colours and you can decorate a virtual room on-line to preview the effects

Ive just done mine, hazelnut and cream, its like a milk chocolate colour.

Its very modern and looks fabulous.

Lots of shops are doing bedding and curtains in these colours at the moment.

Lilac is a very calming colour, very appropriate for the bedroom, and will go especially with warm white.

I've just painted my room white, and I have black and hot pink accesories, bedding etc.

How about using Navy blue and Lime green? get a navy blue bed set and curtains, but a lime green flat sheet and bottom pillowcases. Ikea have some great lime coloured accesories - candles and photo frames..

mine is painted warm white with a baby blue, and has chocolate brown accessories. it looks really nice, the blue and white gives it a fresh clean look, and the brown adds a splash of colour and warmth.
this link will show you these sorts of colours together http://www.argos.co.uk/static/Product/partNumber/0933957/Trail/C%24cip%3D49764.Furniture%2Band%2Bfurnishings%3EC%24cip%3D49863.Home%2Bfurnishings%3EC%24cip%3D49870.Cushions%2Band%2Bcushion%2Bcovers.htm
and they seem really popular too - you'll find pictures/wall art, bedding etc to match these colours in most high street shops like argos, wilkinsons, ikea, dunelm mill etc all at affordable prices.
