I bought a house with a large tub and can't remove it from the house with tearing out the whole bathroom. The only problem with the tub is that it's 1950's baby blue. I've heard you could hire some one to refinish the the tub. I think they sand-blast it, not sor sure though. Anyway, I just dont know what these people are called? The professional name so I can look one up in the phone book.

Hi there. The refinishing is not as good as the original finish. You should find one in bath tub repair. Good luck and try to stick with something conventional like white should you decide to sell your home. That way potential buyers will not be turned off. Have a great year.

I just looked it up in our local Yellow Pages.
I found a long list of them under: Bathtubs & Sinks-Repair & Refinish

It is written in the Yellow Pages exactly like that.
Just start looking for Bathtubs and you'll find it.
You probably aren't using the Dallas, TX phone book but I'm sure where you live, there will be a catagory under bathtubs somewhere for refinishers.

Good Luck.

he or she is called a re-glazer. They can reglaze bathtubs any sink or tile. I'm not sure about the baby blue color though. I've only seen white or almond finish
