try boarder adhesive, paint it on with a small artist brush, press it back in place, wait a few hours before painting, its a lot stronger than paste and should do the job.

The same just happened to me when decorating. If it is just a little bit of peeling, the paint will make it stick, just paint enogh on and as it dries it will keep the wallpaer in place. If it is larger areas, try re-pasting will wallpaper paste before painting. Otherwise the only 100% effective way is probably to strip the paper and re-plaster. If it is a rented house see if the landlord will pay for this.

Hi UK builder here, Lucy is right the trick is to but it back as it is, cut edges show where-by torn edges mask much better. You can either use paste or just paint back I have done both over the years. Paste is the correct way though.

You can use overlap adhesive on the loose bits. Sometimes I just tear the loose bit off, rub down with 80 grit paper, skim with powdered interior filler and then rub down with 120 grit.

Just give the edges a good pasting leave for 5 mins then stick em back , simple !!

A tip on replacing small patches of wallpaper, dont cut it to shape you will notice the lines, just tear it less noticable.

Just re-paste the bit's that are peeling. Let it dry and then paint the wall.
