Hi, I have a sofa with the following dimensions
88 " w x 38 " d x 37 " h . Will it fit through a 36" door (3 ft).

Check out the picture below. Not sure if I can unscrew the legs.

we are trying to get a home equity loan and i would like to have a few ideas on quick fix decorating tips to help with the apprasial. We just moved from the country to near the beach and need to redecorate. We installed hickory cabinets, have stainless appliances, will be putting down wood flooring and white marble-like countertops. We don't have much natural light (will be adding more lighting) and since it's an open floor plan, I need to have the color coordinate with the living room, hallway to be painted as well. I tested a green, started out with BM herb bouquet, but in the outside light it looked like seafoam green so before I painted, I had them darken it (big mistake). Now I have this ugly gallon of paint. I'd like something warm to blend with the color I think I would like for the living room, etc- BM Stone house?

We have battled a local LaZBoy store for over 12 weeks now. The way we were treated, lied to, and in the end, they ripped us off for $500 for defective chairs we reported the DAY they delivered them. Weeks and weeks of calls, promises they never kept, lies they told, their employees each contradicting what the other said, and finally refusing to stand behind these so-called "highest quality" chairs have been VERY stressful to say the least! If enough people get together and maybe make a video we can post on the web, the number of hits WILL get their attention! There are SO MANY companies getting away with ripping people off and now they're so confident that we the consumers are so powerless that they laugh or rub it in your face! Surely, we can do something to reverse this trend!

Help..I recently moved into a two bedroom house..I would like to have my room painted but not sure which color would go nice with espresso (dark brown..close to black) bedroom furniture..I am a quiet person and love peacefulness so I want something that reflects that..or maybe something colorful but very pleasing to the eye..I live close to home depot in bklyn..so any advice I would appreciate...thanks!!!

Yesterday I started painting the adjecent rooms a rich taoupe(ie) rose. I dont know how to describe it but its a deep rich earthy color boardering on purple or rose-ish. Given this description can you picture it? In your imagination do those colors go together? The swatches looked good together...I love both of the colors but I am not sure how well they actullly blend.
Any suggestions? Does it sound like a brothel?
I have a lot of art, and plants that can bring it together but Ive never done anything quite this....colorful.....

I just finished prime painting an exterior surface. I used alkyd product, and now I am scared to dispose of anything. Do I rinse the brush, latex gloves, and primer paint can in a sink, do I throw old newspaper with primer paint in recycling? What??

does anyone know if there are any grants to assist in the preservation of 140 yr old home by siding it? i live in nys, the old wood siding is deteriorating to the point that only siding, not painting will preserve it..thank you

The extension size would be for, roughly, a 14x12ft extension on the ground floor only to add a 3rd bedroom. There is a brick store room/ shed in the place at the moment that would need to pulled down. I'm only looking for a very rough estimate here while I think about a house I want to buy, e.g. would it cost £1-5K, £5-10k, £10-15k, etc.

I saw in Target over the summer then it disappeared before I could buy it!It seemed like dorm furniture and they had clear and smoky color too.It was very modern. What exactly is this? I have been looking for something to cover my comforter like a pillow cases for pillows. I wanted to get one so at least I can wash it every time I want and still retain my comforter in good shape for a long time and to change looks sometimes. Is this called duvet covers? or is there another name for it? Please let me know Thanks!
