I am moving into a new house and i'm going to get it decorated by pros.I need ideas for colors and themes that go togeather...

well it depends what style you are. if u like to be girly then go with a purple or a pink. if you are more like a tom boy then go with a blue or a green. im moving to but i want my room to be girly even though im not a girly person. chose a color that best suits you.

I would go to the library or book store and get some interior room magazines for ideas. Check your closet and you will get an idea of the colors that you like to wear are the colors you might enjoy looking at all the time. If you already have furniture try and get colors that would go with it. Can't hurt to pay the money and get a "colorest" to help you pick the colors if you are decorating with a pro, ask them. Picking colors can be tricky and something you will be living with a long time. Also, get tiny packets of paint (versus pints) and paint a swatch. Colors look different in different lights and time of day. Good luck!

All colors are beautiful if done right. Why don't you go down to the store (Home Depot or Barnes and Noble) and look at remodeling magazines. Lots of them have ideas for paint colors and decorating ideas.
Otherwise one of my favorite looks is Khaki walls with white basebords and doors, accenting with black and white photographs, and neutral furniture, and one bold color.. such as red or purple for pillows or lamp shades etc...

It depends on what your house looks like, and how many windows are in each room. I reccomend pale yellows with white trim for living rooms. Its soft, and goes with almost anything. The decorator should have some ideas

Will you be primarily awake or asleep in it? I am considering painting my house, and the bedroom is only a sleeping and dressing area. Why should I want to paint that?

go to the library and checkout decorating ideas books
or the big home improvement stores and get the pamphlets
and then you can better decide
you have to like it and live with it not us!

hi ...its important for you to feel good in that room so i am thinking at yellow,with blue flowers or something to look like water,or sea(a blue )or white and something with a pink(and the pink has to be pale)

a dull type of pink with alot of windows..... the sunlight will give it a new nice sparkle and also the feminine touch
