We just moved from the country to near the beach and need to redecorate. We installed hickory cabinets, have stainless appliances, will be putting down wood flooring and white marble-like countertops. We don't have much natural light (will be adding more lighting) and since it's an open floor plan, I need to have the color coordinate with the living room, hallway to be painted as well. I tested a green, started out with BM herb bouquet, but in the outside light it looked like seafoam green so before I painted, I had them darken it (big mistake). Now I have this ugly gallon of paint. I'd like something warm to blend with the color I think I would like for the living room, etc- BM Stone house?

Why not go with blue since u r by the beach. Its fresh n relaxing at that and would help brighten the room more and keep the open floor plan. Do something like light (not heavy material) curtains on window so it flows with the breeze. Trim with white r just a brighter color n the whatever color family u choose. If u still like the green just get a light, bright green color like turquoise r aqua but not the dark color a light almost pastel color to keep up with the feeling of being in a oasis. U can try a blue-green color also the ocean that u can see through the water. Just keep it cool and relaxing because that is the whole point of being at the beach...right. good luck!

Of course, an ideal aspect is not always possible for everyone. City flats may enjoy little naturally available light and be overlooked on all sides. Put samples flat on the floor and move them around the room to see how different positions and lighting conditions can affect the color.

The sun is very intense in the beach. Your house absorb heat. You need to use fresh color inside. White is the mostly used. Also outside. It provide more space sensation and reflect the light also.

i'm reading to be an indoors clothier. I hate whites! this relies upon on in case you will replace the tile to a diverse shade, yet, assuming you're actually not and you will stay with the comparable maple shade, and in case you like outstanding hues, bypass with a easy blue for the partitions, and for the kitchen home equipment, shop them white needless to say and for the cabinets and countertop, decide for a gentle beige shade. yet, even although you like the room to be outstanding and sunny, this is what i could do if I have been you. What could bypass somewhat nicely with a maple shade is dark eco-friendly. the cabinets and countertop wood, yet once you do no longer decide to change them, detect the same maple shade to bypass which incorporate your floor to color them with. in case you re changing the home equipment like the microwave and refrigerator, bypass with black, and a silver and black refrigerator. If no longer, white is high quality. And to possibly upload a chilled result, detect a trend wallpaper and decrease a skinny strip that ought to bypass around the midsection of your kitchen. i could seek for the wallpaper with a huge bunch of wine grapes on it (i've got seen it formerly) or bypass which incorporate your selection which you think of could bypass terrific. the wallpaper is as much as you, yet possibly it may be relaxing. Are you making plans to color the the remainder of your place? I did my grandmother's kitchen. It sounds like an previous 1950's diner, with black and white tile, candy apple purple partitions, and black cabinets and countertop. the the remainder of her house is painted diverse. Her mattress room I additionally did. it somewhat is a mint eco-friendly and the trim is a maroon. Her bathing room is maroon with mint eco-friendly trim. i'm hoping I helped you. stable luck!

not sure if you intend to match with the green or get rid of the green altogether; to match with the green, a creme or terracotta color might work. green and white is a traditional island theme as well. good luck!
