Not the whole thing just replace the cushions The couch is a light blue material and I'm not sure what would look right. My living room is done in an Americana theme. Does anyone know a sight for country americana style upholstery??

My living room and dining room are one room with a light fiture right in the middle of the room. Any ideas how I can center the light over my dining room table which is off to the side about 3 feet? I live in Italy and the way the houses are built here I can not move the light by snaking through the ceiling. Any ideas? I was thinking of bringing the light over by using a decorative chain but there is also an island of recessed lighting. Help!!!!

I am having a new front entry door put in my house. It's going to be a storm security door plus a fiberglass inner door, and a transom. The floor in the entry is going to be porcelain tile (it's vinyl sheet right now). I believe the entire door frame will need to be replaced. Should I have the door done first, or should I do the floor first? I am not doing the doorway myself but I do plan to do the floor myself.

i am bout to remodle the bathroom upstairs the floor is really crappy its a small bathroom old tub sink toilet tub and the sink is on one wall with the toilet back on the other wall in a corner i need some ideas to make it look great on like a 100 to 200 dollar budget any ideas oh the sink dont work eaither lol the floor has never been touch since i lived here and this house is like over 50 yrs old need sum help !!

I'm tired of hearing how it gets homes and apartments rented better. It has made me almost hate white. I like color and expression in a room. I feel more alive when the room has color and a theme, clean lines and a few incidental items. What is wrong with letting tenants paint, as long as it's nothing dark that is hard to cover? It should just be a given that each new tenant will adjust the space to suit their personality.

A futon or day bed is out of the question. It is an efficiency apartment and it's all one room. I will only be living there 6 months and I don't want to spend that much money. But I do want to make it as comfortable as possible!

we have just installed a new shower, tray, tiling, and glass door, looks really nice but last night my husband slipped in it and there is a huge crack in it, more like a hairline crack, do we have to replace the whole tray as it would mean wrecking the tiles and taking the door off or is there any other way to fix it? please Im desperate?
