Soak it and gently scrape off, you might have to touch up the paintwork though.

Tip..... next time take tape off as soon as you have painted the wall.
Tip..... If your worried about your masking tape taking off paint, either remove it straight away after painting, or, tear lengths, and place it on your jeans or whatever you are wearing, pull the tape off and on a couple of times, then place the tape where you want it to go, this will lessen the stickyness of the tape, it will still stay in place, but wont take half the paint with it.

I highly recomend using Goo-Gone. This product is extremely effective! It can be purchased just about anywhere. Drug stores, hardware stores, even my local grocery store carries it. To use it, squirt a bit on the tape, let it sit for about 30 seconds-1 minute. The tape will wipe right off the wall. It has a nice citrus smell too! Good Luck!

Steam the tape off. Do not use any chemicals or heat as this will damage the sheet rock. Heat and chemicals will cause the paint to alligater up and chip off. The sheet rock under the paint will also ruin.

Warm it up. It'll make the adhesive more 'fluid'.
Try placing your hand over it for a few minutes, body-heat warming the tape. Then peal back very slowly. Hopefully, you'll get it off. Mind-you, if it's been on there a while, it could be difficult.
