Something that would be perceived as sand color, but actually had some pink tones to it, should make the wall color "pop" as the interior decorators would say.
If you want the green tint to be appreciated, use accents in gradations from the light green of the walls until a noticeably green color. Sounds like a lovely shade.

I would put gray carpet, and then go with contemporary picture of Grey, Black, wine color, and maybe that pale green in there too. Just get a large canvas, paints, and you can do it yourself. You will need a large brush, just get a reg. paint brush, it will make the strokes good because it will leave a feather type of a stoke, meaning not a blunt end to the stroke. Contemporary pictures are mainly space, or and shapes. The colors is what you want to bring all those colors you have together and yet give a main color of the wine. Wine color looks good as a accent color with grey and black. Throw pillows could be grey or wine, or maybe a grayish apple green. You could get some small sample pieces of cloth or different paint swatches to take home and put up against the walls and the couch, get the gray, green, and wine color you might want to play with.
You could either paint the canvas white, or gray background, and put large strokes of black, gray (if the background is white or creme, which would probably be the best background), the take swipes of the wine color smaller than the black, then the gray, maybe touch of white too. You can sketch it out first, or just look for this type of picture.
Bed and Bath, Target, Pier I, you just find pictures any place and at the places you least suspect would have one. If the frame is not expensive enough looking, just take the picture our and get a black one, or whatever you want in the hobby stores, you could even get an inespensive wood frame and paint it yourself. It is so much more fun doing things like this, than just going out and have someone else do it for you. Then you can tell people you were the artist and decorator.
I think these accent colors would be nice, if you like that kind of design and sounds like it with black couch and that color of wall. Good look. No, I am not a decorator, but someone who has taken some decorator (2 dimensional design courses), and done it myself for years and years. A large throw rug would be nice, or a mirror, flower arrangements that you can do yourself, black ginger jar, with flowers you pick out yourself at the hobby store that sells flowers. I think the wine color, and a touch of wihite, in front of the mirror, (silver), and small table, or couch table would be good. Don't be afraid to do things yourself, but get the color scheme and designs down on paper first.

Try chocolate Browm & Light Aqua. Get throw pillows for that black couch with The Chocolate Brown and Aqua including other accents, this will make the color on the walls stand out.

I suggest you buy a carpet you like since it is more permanent than paint color. If you find the carpet doesn't match your walls, you can easily paint your walls. Something neutral would go with your wall color.
Another idea is to get hardwood floors or laminate hardwood. (We just installed laminate in our basement family. It looks so much like real hardwood. It came with 3 lengths, beveled, plank boards. Love it.) I was originally going to get carpet, but decided against it. The laminate will be much easy to keep clean.

A cream colored carpet would be best. I have a similar color combo in my living room- Mossy green walls, brown leather furniture and cream carpet. Good luck!~

with plae green walls and black sofas, i would go with a charcoal gray. i think that would look great, but you'll have to decide if you want to live with really dark carpet for years.

darker color carpets contrast well but it might wash out your wall color, i suggest keeping the carpet lighter than the wall..maybe an eggwhite kind of colour..good luck!
