Look for labels on it anywhere. What is it's age? When you said glass top pedestal, it's not nearly as old as I was expecting. That sounds more like the 60's.
What are the pedestals made of ? Have you searched on Ebay? Do it on a regular basis to see if you come up with something similar.

We tried a website called appraisals@whatsitworthtoyou.com it costs about $10.00 for general appraisal, but money well spent to know- For sure, and they do very well... we were very pleased with ours. You can have an advanced search for more money, good luck!
