I moved out a couple of weeks ago. My bedroom is boring. White walls, no paintings or posters. Anyone know of any neat art that I can hang up in my room? By the way, it is a guys room.

You like modern? Think paintball! Get a very large stretched artist's canvas from the art supply store and set up outside at home. If you are into paintball,use the canvas for target practice. Otherwise get some of those little water bomb balloons,pour some acrylic paint in each, blow them up tight then throw as hard as you can at the blank canvas. The paint will drip and run but that will just add to the abstract look.

I think that you should get a camera and take pics of the female body.... Like the nape of her neck, or the curve of her naked hip, or the arch in her back or her hand touching her shoulder. These are very sexy parts of a woman but without being pornographic. The cool part is you don't have to show her face at all just those specific parts of her body. Then take them to a photo shop to have them made into Black & white or even sepia & get some awesome frames that match your room.
As long as you take tastefull pics...it's perfect art.
As far as vintage goes.... You can always find old pin up pics on line.

I'd suggest using "Art-Tac" to put your favorite posters, light pictures, etc., to put those items on your walls. Check out the Google "Images." You can purchase fairly inexpensive artwork in poster format. For a higher price, you can get these matted and framed in your choice of color/type. I like oriental art and have found some great buys through that site.

you should go get some canvas' -- you can get tham at art supply stores -- lay out some painters tape in a cool modern fashiion and paint with colors -- get creative. You'll love the splash of manly colors on the way -- bravo for trying to decorate! some guys don't care!!

Hey try this website, www.allposters.com. They have a wide selection of art and posters, framed and non-framed in various categories. I have used them to cover many of the walls in my home many times and they are great. Good luck!

Thrift stores are the best places for that stuff. This is obvious but vintage furniture stores are great too if you can find one.
