I'm going to paint my living room which is all neutrals, dark leather furniture and modern cream accents. We have celery green curtains and I'm looking for a color scheme I can use as a tool to finish painting and introducing more color to the room.
I used to have a designers handbook in college like this, full of color combinations that work. Where can I find examples of colors online?

My sofa & chairs are a light tan color, rug is beige, coffe tables are dk brown, I painted the walls a light yellow but it looks to blah & washed out. Dining room has to be painted the same color & the DR chairs are maroon. I'm thinking maroon accents in living room. Want to repaint room, but what color will jazz it up also what color should draperies be?

its a small house that is being used as more of a music room where we can crank music up without disturbing people. there isnt a bathroom curently. i mainly want it to be used for peeing just so people dont have to walk to the house. would it be wrong to just add a door with a small fenced in area (privacy fence) for people to just pee there instead of having to put ina water line?

I am thinking of flipping a house, (I have never done this before) it's not in shambles, just needs some updating. Built in late 1970's, it was once a 3br house, but they knocked down 1 wall to make it a 2br with a large master br. So it would need a wall built for the 3rd br, new siding, new exterior doors, some interior paint, new countertops in 1 bath & kitchen, new vinyl floors in kit & 2 baths and new carpet in family room. No major construction needed (I don't think). I can buy it for $150K in an area where avg home selling price is 250K and avg price in that specific neighborhood is $230K. How much money would you invest in this deal if you were to do it? And if you have done a deal like this before what are some tips/advice? Thanks all!!
