I heard their are sprays to dye a couch, has anyone ever used them? or at least know what they are called and where they are sold? I heard using Ritt is a terrible idea, are spray stains bad too?

My couch is not the kind that can use a slip cover also, slip covers are uglier than the color of my couch. Has anyone used the paint? it is not really a dye and is not supposed to rub off.

I wouldn't even try! Scary! Ritt is never consistent and I think is only good on small jobs. Leave it to a professional or just have it re-upholstered.

Only a industrial company can do that or a independent contractor because it would be to messy. Sometimes it's better to buy a new couch because the frame may not be worth saving.

I do not recommend dying-the above are correct, it will rub off onto your clothing. Instead, opt for a slipcover, which come in a variety of colors and styles, and you can wash as well. Good Luck!~
