Sounds great except for the beige or light brown walls. Go with light gray so it will coordinate with the black and white.

I've never really been a fan of that whole black/white thing. I think a bedroom needs to be a sanctuary. It should be warm and inviting, not antiseptic. I do like the black and white picture idea. But add some color somewhere. And beige is not enough of a color to qualify. This is of course, only my opinion, and I don't have to like your room, but you do, so do what you like.

not the beige you need some thing to warm up the room pick a colour you like
go for the second colour on the paint chip
than get a few things ie: (small pillows, a teddy bear, a dress scarf ) in the same colour as the walls

Perhaps light grey would be better on the walls, with white trim? If you're going with a colorless black & white theme, a colored wall might look a bit odd.
Just my opinion, of course. Whether or not your house looks good is for nobody but you to decide.

I agree with breakwhatz. Seems to me the beige walls are out of place with the rest of the scheme. You need some real color and it will seem rather blah and boring. Just my opinion.
Go for what makes you happy!

Sounds good, but I would go with cream rather than a stark white. You really need one bright color in your room somewhere though, otherwise run the risk of looking too harsh. Think bright coral or a cool teal blue. Good luck!~

You need more color and contrast with your bed. Bed white on beige walls boring. Go darker with your paint - medium to darker color.
