i have dry skin and my mom says it because i dont use gloves when i was dishes. Is that true, are dishliquids good for the hand? is there a real need for gloves when washing dishies? i dont like to wear them but if this is true then i guess i would have to...

I had a fire in my home, my floors were covered with smoke and soot. The floors with linolem after being professionally cleaned 2-3 times continue to be a light grey in color and where there were seams is even darker. Is there any way to clean this?

My little graffiti artist has vandalized two television sets and his toy airplane. I was able to get the marker off of the glass portion but have not had any luck getting it off the plastic. I have tried rubbing alcohol dish soap and water with no luck. Any ideas.

My husband and his family smoke cigarettes outside but when they come back into the house I smell cigarettes very strongly I think the smell comes off thier clothes and sticks to my furniture my mother is coming to visit when I have my baby in about 2weeks and my mother inlaw will be staying with us untill then my mom and myself do not smoke and I dont want my house to smell any sugestions on how to prevent this? Aside from getting a new husband and new inlaws?

ok help!!!!!!!! my bathroom counter had a basket sitting on it... having a 2 year old that likes to wash her hands and the entire counter i never bothered to wipe down the counter, figued its water it will dry..... well cleaning the counter this evening and moving the basket theres orangish rust kinda colored stains. I tried muriatic acid and that didnt even cut through it.... also tried clorox clean up or something to that effect. So im pretty much at a loss as to what to use. I ve never found anything that muriatic acid didnt clean!!!
