I had a fire in my home, my floors were covered with smoke and soot. The floors with linolem after being professionally cleaned 2-3 times continue to be a light grey in color and where there were seams is even darker. Is there any way to clean this?

I had a fire and 409 cut soot the best I am sure you could mop and scrub the floor with it get plenty of ventaltion its pretty strong may trying a small space and see if it works. Bleach is always good on linolem but not good at cutting soot good at whitening may follow with bleach. Do not mix these two try them at seperate times good luck!

Home Depot and other home centers I am sure carries a product called Krud Cleaner which will remove most anything. For the seams you might need a small brush to get down into them. Good Luck.

Don't sound like the pros. did a through job. Do it you self with a mixture of warm vinigar about 1/2 c to a pail of water. If you could use one of those electric floor cleaners. You can usallly rent them from the groceries stores. Good luck.

I'm sorry there is no way to get it back to the way it was before the fire.
